Established in 1995, Barbieri Advogados has practised through three decades of profound change in Brazilian law. From the consolidation of the Plano Real to economic liberalisation; from the employment, pensions and tax reforms to the digital transformation of the courts and of legal practice itself; from the modernisation of corporate law to Brazil\u2019s international repositioning \u2014 between the Mercosur-EU Agreement and China\u2019s rise as a strategic partner. Our practice took shape within that current. The history of Barbieri Advogados is, in part, the history of that period.\u00a0<\/p>\n
What matters, above all else, is the client. Nothing we do exists outside the client\u2019s interest. To anticipate needs before they are articulated; to protect interests with technical integrity; to communicate frankly the real risks, deadlines and prospects \u2014 even where frankness is unwelcome; and to be personally answerable for the acts of each engagement: this is what defines, in concrete terms, the practice we conduct. We do not treat the client relationship as the provision of a service, but as the adoption of the client\u2019s interests as our own.
